One day, my husband heard that and claimed he is the hairball 1!

The mouse man

"Excuse me! Did you see mice around here?"

That was a remarkable way to stop a girl. It was a hot day in summer. I was walking back to home. I had to stop because there was nobody around, and that guy was running to speak to me. It was a quiet residential area in Tokyo. The guy confessed he wanted to talk to me but couldn't think of something good. He was putting screen to block mice in to the houses. I wanted to go home so bad. I didn't like standing in the sun when I was tired after school and with fever. While I was thinking how should I get out from unlucky situation, he lost his mind in a daydream.

"I just broke up with my girlfriend. You can move into my place. I think you look nice with a white Carolla...."

He wanted to walk with me to home but I didn't want him know where I live. So while he went back to where he was working to pick his stuff up, I run to home. I never wore the same outfit again because he said he loved it.

Later, when a guy came to my place and asked if I need the screen to block mice, I freaked out because I thought he was that guy. I was living by myself in my mom's friends' big house. and I had a trauma of a stalker.

I found mini apples, peaches and tiny tiny keys at a craft store in Studio City. That store is dangerous!!

Kabocha pumpkin

My husband likes Kabocha pumpkin but I'm lazy to cook. 

It's hard to peel and cut but it's yummy.So, it's husband's job to peel, cut, 

and bake in the oven. I mixed with soymilk and chilled in the fridge. yumyum.

I have to buy more mushrooms and fruits. hmmm I will be on cinnamon stick hunting too.  

vegan ramen

I found Vegan Ramens online. And most of them suggested to use "Okinawa-soba" for noodle. It's colored yellow, not made with egg. Also I tried soymilk for the soup, I totally forgot I don't like thick "Tonkotsu"= pork bone soup :( Soymilk soup is yummy but it's too much for me since I liked simple salt and negi ramen. I'll try next time.

Flower cake

Since my sweet tooth friend's demon ate my angel, he put sweet curse on me. 

Today he kidnapped me to a dangerous store, and there, I found a fake cake.

I don't have fake fruits yet but it'll look yummier with fruits :)

Corsage

I was trying to make a corsage for my mom. But it ended up too soft for her :( It's pretty but I wanna try blue, green, and brown. boo. oh well, next week, I will make a mini cake! yay :)

Re arranged into cocotte dishes. I should get bigger dish next time :( It's hard to make a good balance.

A lot of people think vegans only eat salad. NO. I make sushi sometimes :) YumYum

I was going to take a professional class from today. But my husband wants me to wait till make sure I can start business. It's hard because I without a license, I have to buy materials for retail price. The rose I used today costs $15!

Add soy milk last and heat just enough to warm.

Sparkle nori. I ate it with "Tamaki" sprouted rice :) yum

a junk day

Oy! I ate too much oily pasta at around 10 pm. I think my crazy friend put junky curse on me ;( He can eat dinner, 6 small maffins and humberger, and coldstone fudge caramel ice cream. Of course he gets sick after that but he goes crazy sometimes. His devil must ate my angel tonight :( Boooo  

It was a better day

  We went to Brentwood to hike. this time of the year is the best to hike I think.

Fresh greens and flowers are pretty. But it was not so good to have huge brunch before going to hike.

I've got new 2 pairs of jeans at Wasteland. It's a great store. I always get new or almost new jeans at either Wasteland or Cross Road Torading, $15-300 jeans for less than $35..

Then we went to Studio City and wondering around. It's a cute city.

We visited our friend and had grill and yogurt. Though Spicy green pepper attacked us. I washed my hands twice but I tried to take cat hair out of my eye, then the green pepper attacked my eye!!

He gave me a cool cigar box with drawers :) I'll start making something tomorrow. and put glass when it's done.

Our new kitty, Wasabi is getting used to our place :) He was hiding for 3 days. One morning we found him in a dish cabinet sitting on the dishes. Once he was in a pan.Now he has drug party every night.  

Anyway, it was pretty good day :) I hope everybody had a good day.

Tomorrow will be better day

I hope.... I just had a bad day. It was no good from the morning. I was sleepy but couldn't go back to sleep. My husband came home from school depressed because he didn't do good job. So, he decided to go to Island, a junk food restaurant. I ate a little of french fries but of course it made us sick. He wanted to buy me a jeans but I felt sick, started to have a headache. We watched 2 movies. Got email that says I didn't get the job I wanted :( After movie, it was mid night, hungry but still not feeling good. I made 10 min. won-ton soup. (water, ginger, white wine, wakame seaweed, won-ton from Whole Foods, garlic and sesami oil, soy sauce, salt, green onion spinach).

I hope tomorrow will be a better day. Though we have no plans :(

 

Kanten and Edamame

Kanten (Agar) is vegan gelatin. I usually get from a Japanese market but I guess Chinese and Korean markets have it, not sure though. I made Tomato Jelly for dinner a while ago. Of cource fruit jelly is yummy too.

Edamame is yummy source of protein :) I mixed with Umeboshi (pickled plum), sesami, sesami oil, and soy sauce, I think. 

Preserved Flower 1

This is the 1st one I made. I'm going to replace flowers since the little ones are all in the back and can't see well from the front. This is the side. It's hard to make a good balance, but fun :) I think I'm in creative mode lately.

Preserved Flower 2

Today was the second lesson of Preserved Flower.

   "Preserved Flower" is chemically treated and last about 3 years without water! I just started to take a class but I really wanna start taking upper class. I picked up purple and yellow, the combination I rarely choose. In fact, I hardly use purple in my color palette. But I think it came out pretty good. At least it made me happy :)
  

I need to figure out to take better photos of flowers :(
